    ...ain't so bad.

    Yesterday, while rooting through a bucket of junk, I found 4 old Driftmasters. One beer later, I sprang into action.:smile2:

    Welded 3/8" coupling nuts to one end of 24" rebar pins, and now I have some pretty darned fancy bank rod holders.:cool2:

    One thought on rod holders in general...if you fish on hard, rocky or clay banks, sharpened cold rolled bars will drive quite a bit easier than rebar.

    That's pretty slick! I need to make some of those pins for when I take the kids bank fishing.
