has anyone used these?
price seems good but will they hold up?
i have a couple and they seem to some decent rods
I build my own, but a few yrs back I had ordered a couple american spirit 8' Hvy nightsticks, I kept them in plastic untill this past march and give them to my grandson for his birthday. My Bro just bought a 9' nightstick..and fish's it well..I think you cannot go wrong with the rod, If you get the action, power, and line class rod you are hunting for.. The weight of the rod is the only thing I had against it.
I bought a American Spirit Night Stick series glow tip about two months ago. Its a nice rod and seems to be built pretty well. The tag says "special construction to meet the challenge of the largest catfish" and even has a picture of a flathead on it, lol :smile2:. I would really like to challenge the claim. Anyways I like it, so far so good. Oh ya, the price was hard to beat for a heavy action 12' pole.
Thats what the 2 I had ;; had on them,, The Flatheads and the glow tips:wink:I think they'll work:wink:
We ran a deal through the Catfish Syndicate on most of there models, dirt cheap prices..
Talking $17 range for some models of their fishing rods.
do they have a website?
Its the BOC's e-mail group, that go's by the code name,"Catfish Syndicate"..
They are a dangerous and unruly bunch... :smile2:
Hey if I can handle lookin in the mirror:embarassed:
I can handle abt anything:smile2:
Thanks for info!
I used a 12 foot nite stick to catch the 50-lb flathead in my avitar, they will handle big fish.
What kind of reel you got on that bad boy? I got a Okuma saltwater spinning reel. I can cast a country mile if need be, lol.
I tried all day to get thru but I will try again tomarrow
Ive got three or four of the nite sticks and i like them alot. plenty of backbone when you need to horse a big one out of cover and i think they are pretty well made i have no complaints with them at all.
lol i posted the same thing, look on the list, havent used it much to know yet, there not for tightlining, to hevy, i like to use my cliker on that one always, thats a flathead rod, dont try , targeting blues with that, them are made for fishing log jams
