    Anyone been fishing at Alumn Creek Lake lately? Planning on going fri eve just trying to figure out where.:confused2:

    A bud of mine has been fishing up by the dam Ed. He has been catching some cats from the boat tho.

    Alum is the closest big water to me, aside from Hoover, that I can't put my boat on. I really am beginning to despise that place. I just wish that it had Flattys in it. Big channels are nice, but seeing that are few and far between, they are really beginning to bore me.

    Spending a bunch of money on a trip, only to spend the whole time fighting 1.5lb channels, is not what I am looking for. Carp are much more exciting than that.

    is that place still infested with zebra mussels?? and still a pleasure boaters paradise?? i used to live there a long time ago, until i wised up and moved south...

    Never did hear about any zebra mussel problem, but yes, it is a pleasure boaters paradise.
