Went fishing all night last night by the culvert by chesire rd. Only a few bites! Why is the catfishing so slow? Is it the weather, the moon? I have been fishing hard the last month! Real hard and only have caught a few smaller channels! Anyone been doing any good or have some advise?

Great job on getting out there, not sure why the bite is slow it should be picking up right about now. Good luck in the future

Could be several factors involved. I have been having the same problem lately. I plan to try the early morning bite this week and see if it's any better.

Has anyone do any good here lately? I've been wanting to go back up to alum creek but can never find someone to ride along. I'd have to give them some info on the biting an catching first to get em to go.
