Alum Creek Update

    Well its that time of year............. Yep the cats at Alum are in there prespawn or spawn routine...

    What this means to the anglers who seek out these kittys is .......... Think shallow and think cover........ When Cats spawn they look for shallow water with little current , undercut banks , cover(logs , large rocks , exc...) The female will find a suitable spot to lay her eggs after the spawn, the male will stay on the nest and agitate the eggs by fanning his tail over them while at the same time guarding them from preditors. Its not uncommon or large schools of cats to spawn in one location this makes for a great night for fishing.... Just thought i would try to give everyone a heads up on Alum Creek activity.........
