Fished Alum Creek lastnight from 6:00pm till 2:00am landed some decent fish largest was 23" .... total of about 20 cats caught, and most were caught on the flats in the boat swim area just north of the 36/37 overpass.

We used a variety of baits crawlers , chicken liver , cut bait , shrimp..... largest fish i cuaght was 22" and was using shrimp all night. There were alot of boats in the area and alot of swimmers too but this didnt seem to bother the fishing much we were anchored right in the middle of them and was still able to catch alot of fish......

Sounds like a good time there Allen, where is that overpass can it be reached by shore. I usually fish off of Africa or right near the Chesire bridge area.

Good info as usual, Allen. You put me on fish there a couple weeks ago.

It depends where on the lake you want to fish. But I have launched from the howard rd. ramp. It's small, but the North Galena ramp is nice. I launch from there when I'm night bowfishing at times. If you have a map I can show you areas to go to.
