Went fishing Friday night 6/29, caught only 3 cats biggest 9.11 lbs. Used cut shad fishing in deep water 22'. I've had luck in the last few weeks fishing shallow but only catching smaller cats nothing over 6lb. I know this time of year most fish shallow, but changing your tactics can often pay off in a big way.

i fish all over alum creek from the bank now that my brother sold his boat, and i fish some long walked to spots to get where i need to be, but i only seem to do any good way up past howard road up near the stump field , have you caught any big cats out of alum? and if so where? lord knows weve put in the time..we just must not be where the big ones hide..this year our biggest cat has been 6 lbs out of alum.
