I heard awhile back that there was a camera on the Alton Lock and Dam where you could get live photos on the internet. If anyone knows where I can find this website or the link to the camera it would definetly be appreciated. Thank you in advanced.

Only camera I know of is upstream at Winfield Lock and Dam 25. Go to St. Louis Corps of Engineers website and you can find it somewhere there I think.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm still determined to find it. I might just stop by the corp. office some night after work. There is another camera that I've heard about that is underwater and depending on the clarity of the water there are some pretty good pics.

Winfield Lock and Dam 25 definately has a camera. I am surfing on my phone or I would find the link for you. Don't think Alton has one. The underwater camera you are looking for is called the SHAD CAM, google it. Not on the Mississippi River system though and I think itis shut down for the winter possibly.

I am pretty sure that is on the James River in Virginia.
