Has anyone fished the Altamaha River lately? Any lessons learned over the past 15 months or major changes?

Dropping my rig off at the shop this weekend for warranty work and two recall(s).

i have fished outa jaycees a number of times as well as paradise park once. Fish and game shacked the river in that area and pulled out alot of fish. there are still plenty there however i think they are on there beds right now sense the bite has slowed significantly. also the river depth continues to change drasticaly which tends to slow the bite. we still usualy catch a few nice fish though
