have a care free cast with that glob of liver

    1. a 1/8 piece of bar (watever type and length) and make a slot in the piece <========\\====D

    2. i took a power drill and made a needle point on 1 end and a dull point on the other like the one in the picture ( the sharp point should be at the end of the open faced slot) (i also used a wire wheel with a stone )

    3. take the liver or watever type and thread on the shaft. then take the leader loop and put in the slot. slide the liver on the top of the leader loop and slide all the way down on the trebel hook .

4, now ive whiped a 8 ft poll into the water to try to get it off with this method of hookin and it wont come off..if u think it takes too much time to do,throw one out and then bait a few more leaders ,,,den catch that bigun:lol:

now this may sound crazy but it works and it keeps the liver on the hook.first you have to get womens pantyhose and some rubber bands..take the panty hose and drop some liver into it enough to cover your hook, then take a rubber band to close up each end then you can just pop the hook right on through..and cast away with out your liver flying off..give it a shot or let me know if you have any other suggestions.. thanks..

the blood gets around fasterr if you let it move freely but i do that when i use single hooks

works well in clear waters though. good suggestion

Pantyhose works pretty good, but instead of rubber bands, I use the ties that come on loves of bread or in with some trash bags and they work pretty good?
I cut the ties in 3 or 4 pieces, then pull the pantyhose up around the hook and tie them.

you can actually buy the breadtie things on a spool at a dollar general store i saw them down here it was 1$ for a good sized roll of it and it will definately last longer than saving breadties lol just trying to help and great idea!
