My buddy Scott Sandy caught this 67.18 pound blue yesterday. The lake record is 68.0! Bummer, but what a fish!

Oh yea. I guess I should have mentioned that. Lake Lavon Tx. He was fishing from the bank. One heck of a fish from the bank! One heck of a fish period!

All I can say is "WHAT A HOG"! Looking in the background you can see how far down the lakes are due to lack of rain & that's scary.

Wasn't "Splash" caught from the bank? There's a lesson here, I think....;)

Man thats a nice fish for Lavon, I grew up in Farmersville fished the lake all the time and my dad ran trotlines down there alot we never go any big ones mainly channel cats. Seen in yesterdays paper that lavon is almost 8 feet low. I remember about 5 or 6 years ago when north of 380 was completly dry

The fish are getting bigger and bigger. I bet the record gets broken a couple of times this year. 50 pounders are getting to be more and more common. I think the big fish population is growing.
