    Hi Folks,
Its been intense around the farm. The wife's father had lost all but two of his chickens. Her cousin lost alot of ducks, chickens and geese.
Mean while I got 400 pound bear running amok in the corn field.
Well I cant do any thing about the bear, it hits a night.

So I put some dog food in the field and 20 minutes after it was laid it showed. One fox done 200 yards np 150 grn 300 weathertby mag.
    I love that round.

    Just wanted to share it.

Yea we got lots of bears in georgia, It gets worse every year it seems.

You have to learn to tolarate them if not they drive you nuts.

You're scaring me, Just got my new 300 weathery mag sighted and hand loads picked out, 83 grains Imr 7828 with nosler 180 accubond.

I thinking the fox skin wasn't thick enough for expansion.

I've had that happen with deer with my 7mm mag with nosler ballistic tips a couple times, under 100 yards. But they didn't go anywhere.

I aint nockin you fellas for your choice of caliber ,But I shoot deer dead with a 243 and it will blow a fox to bits.,dependin on bullets .I notice that the best bullet for this round is not offered by many any more ,It seems all think of the 243 as only a varmint round, there are many bt bullets from 50-95 grains ,none of which are suited for deer sized animals .

I dont think a nos par had enough to deploy just mho. It would have with a deer I bet. Any way that fowl thief is in happy fox land.
