Algadones Dam

    I've fished in Algadones drain but, never have heard of a dam.

    ya its down a dirt road, its actually called angadura dam or something like that... real good size fish out there... i gotta go to my sg's office right now but ill post some pics when i get back...

    Hey, are you talking about angostura dam:confused2:, my friend says he knows about a diversion dam near Algodones by that name. He says he never fished it but, it looked promising.

    that would be the one my friend.. im trying to upload some pictures now.. all i got pics of are some carp, my step dad pulled out a 15 pound channel but no camera:confused2:

    its pretty muddy, we spent the night up there last weekend and supposedly they let some water down from cochity about 5 o clock or so and by night fall there were trees and weeds all across the water, im talking logs about 8 or 9 foot long atleast lol.... im headin up again this weekend.. best luck on carp were corn and dough bait with vanilla extract.. and the cats were biting on cut bait...
