Maybe this is old stuff to you fellows. I add a small piece of a Mr. Twister plastic to my hook, then put on a half of a night crawler. I'm hoping that the texture of the plastic will give the illusion of a larger bait being presented. This saves me money as night crawlers are selling for 3 to 3.50 a dozen here in this dried out prairie country. It seems to work for me on both rod fishing and trotlines.

What say you old timers who have been around awhile.
