I actually had to do it too a reel (6000) that had broken during a trip. The anti-reverse is a little piece of spring steel that is pressed on a pin that by friction throws itself up into a spur gear that stops the reel from going backwards. Mine had lost its "press fit" and wouldnt stay on the pin. I set it on the pin and used the polyurethane based Gorilla glue. The pin itself is a bushing that was not effected. It works great now and I pulled another apart and tested how easy it was to have the mechinism fall apart (it was pretty easy) so I glued all of them. Works great and I think its bulletproof.

Wonder if this has happened to anyone else, with the antireverse failing? Or did I drop it on too many times on the rocks;)
