so i was gunna get some 7000's this summer but instead i figured i'll try to just make a change to my current reels (probably cheaper)

so where can you guys recommend i get a power handle (one side handle the other side weight) for my 6500 C3? i see catfish connection has them, but the 6500's and 7000's have different size handle bolts, didn't want to get the wrong ones.

I have changed out all my 6500's with power handles.

I bought mine at a local tackle store, I am sure they have them in dayton.

ALL 6000/6500 handles are interchangeable. Got mine from CC.

I'm pretty sure the power handles on catfish connection are for 6000/6500/6600s.

so then CC doesn't carry replacement handles for the 7000's?

i have a power handle for a 7000 that was given to me, i'm pretty sure the hole in the handle is too big for my 6500's

Just like Bill said, the same power handle fits both 6000 and 6500 model ABUs. You can get them anywhere. Try Ebay.

Korey, I sent you a PM on where I got mine. 7000 power handels are to big for a 6500. You need the handel that comes on one of the 6500 TC reels. TC stands for Trophy Collection, they are high end 6500 reels.

They're all over ebay usually, for $15-$17 or so. The guys are right on, the 7000 handle is too big for a 6000/6500.

i like the original small handles myself due to them giving me a faster retrieve when a fish turns and runs bank, or i have a lot of line to catch up to quickly. try fishermans quarters, think i remembered them having a couple last i was in there.
