Anyone know the specs on the Abu 5000. Such as line capacity/test baitclicker? I can't find anything online.

    Thanks,

I'm not sure about the newer ones, but the older 5000's had no clicker. As for size, they are the same as just about any 5000 series model....C3's, C4's......

They do have a 5.3:1 ratio, as compared the 6.3:1 on the C4's.

It depends on which 5000 you are looking at. They made them with 3.8:1, 4.8:1, 5.3:1, and 6.3:1 ratios. They made some with clickers and some without and some with the clicker button and no internal clicker parts. Line cap. is 12-195yds,14-180yds,.30-200yds,.35-170yds.

If you want a all arounf reel that will handle larger cats as well as smaller ones, I would not get a 5000, just not enough line capacity, and most dont have a clicker...6500 is the way to go.
