I have a recipe in the BOC cookbook ,that I just sorta threw togather and started using ,we liked it so much . Last nite I wanted some Taters to go along with the baked chicken my wife was cooking ,so being the inventive guy that I am I put togather the following:

4 small taters scrubbed and sliced a little thinner than 1/2"
Approx 4 T california style garlic powder[the kind with parsly flakes]
    approx 2 T basil
a heavy drizzle of olive oil.

Slice the taters into a bowl, drizzle with OO,shake on the garlic and basil, and if ya like salt and fresh ground black pepper,Wrap in foil . Place on grill at high heat [indirect cooking] for 30-45 minets till tender.

hope yall like it as much as we did.

Never tried taters on the grill, always deep fried. Will have to give it a try next time, and save on the clogged arteries.
