A tip about river fishing....

    If you are in a spot where you are catching channels..... remember that they go up and down the same area.

    I've seen this many time on the Pee Dee... they will cruise the shoreline in schools and go up and down the river. If we are catching them, after the bite quits they will come back in about 15 minutes or so. SO if you have a good spot don't leave! Channels will be back.

    I saw a documentary the other night on why channels swim in schools... Never dawned on me until the other day that's why the bite turns on and off.

    great info there always heard catfish stayed to themselves good to know channels run in schools
