A sure way to get a bite on a slow day is:

    -Talk about changing spots

-Prepare another rod while one is out

    -Lay your rod down unsecured

    -Go for a sandwich

-Start to pull the boat anchor

    -Crack open your first drink

    -Crack open your last drink

-Take notice of the chick on a passing boat, bank or beach

    -Watch others fishing

-Start reeling in your lines at going home time

-Give your fishing rod to a female companion or child to hold

-When your landing net is out of reach

-When you have cast your line over an obstruction

-When you line has drifted into impossible weeds

-When you turn to look at the sunrise or sunset

-Decide that you need to take a leak

    Ain't it the truth?

    I don't know, it comes naturally.

You're right about getting a call on your cell phone, I don't even answer mine anymore if I've got lines in the water. Taking a leak seems to be the surest best of all though, sometimes I don't even have to go and just act like I am to get a bite, I don't know if the fish are starring at me, or if there's some kind of physic reading going on. LOL!

Well Zakk its pretty much the same for us women. The only BIG difference is, if men hand us the rod we get the fish in; if we hand the rod to a man the fish is usually lost! :tounge_out:  :cat:

When you forget to turn the "clicker" on the reel that is furthest from you, it will be the one to get the first strike!

LOL! Look's like I'm not the only one that goes through this kind of stuff.

CBH, that's definitely one I left out, the first pole you leave your clicker off on and the one that's farthest away is going to be the one that gets a big fish hit, and gets pulled over the side.
