Went on a short road trip, after work today, to check out some prices. Walked into a good buy, which generally doesn't happen to me. Anyway, I was at Lowe's and wanted to look at the outdoor carpet as a possibility for my boat. They had a remnant and a smaller piece under the racked rolls. I ended up getting enough to do my boat for $55. It's a medium gray and rubber backed. It's not top line but then my boat isn't either..... For less than I figured for carpeting, I got the carpet, adhesive, wood to make framing, exterior plywood, and stainless screws for a total of less than $150. That leaves me with a good chunk of change to maybe even get a new coat of paint on the boat or some other goodies I'd like.
