Well, I had decided that this weekend was the weekend to hit the river and was determined to go no matter what, LOL!!! Well, I called Stoney this morning and asked him if he wanted to hit the river for a bit. He jumped on it faster than a duck takes to water. He hadn't been fishing in a long time and was chomping at the bit to go. The weather conditions could have been a little better but we went and had a good time despited the thunderstorms moving in on us, LOL!!! Conditions were as follows: A sweltering 39 degrees with a wind chill of 34 Humidity 90% Winds from the SE @ 14mph gusting @ 25mph Rain, Heavy at times Barametric pressure 29.8 and falling River level @ 24.41 and rising (pool is13.5) Action stage is at 24' Flow rate 208,000 cfs w/very little debris Dankitch and Catman_of_owensboro were already out there and had caught 2 blues (14 and a 30 caught by Adam). We had a few hits but no runs. We had a chance to catch up on everyday things in life and shared another adventure on the river. We are gonna try it again tommorrow and see what happens.
