    caught a 8 lb channel cat on a white slider (crappie jig) yestarday fishing in 3 or 4 ft of water i couldnt beleive it lol

    Yep.. I hear about these things happening occasionally :smile2: I always wander if i'm gonna hang a cat or not.. he thinks it's a minnow.:wink:

    We get that alot in the spring pitching for crappie at one of our local lakes. Always a pleasant surprise!

    my dad and I troll for crappie alot in the winter and spring with jigs and minnows and catch blues, channels, flatheads and anything else you could imagine

    hee wouldnt have tasted as good though lol i love some crappie im ready for fall to do some trolling and fill the freezer back up!! :cool2:

    heck ya... we catch chanels all the time on spoons and other jigs fithing for brim or bass

    Done this many times while fishing for saugeyes. Even caught a 41 lb flat with a jig. Nice catch an thank you for a great post!
