a few hours on the river

    got to get out on the river for a few hours last week bait has been hard to get all summer went down to one of my holes to net some shad no luck hit the next hole through the net out an started to pull it in an thought it got cought on some thing a few pulls it started to come to the boat trying as it hit the top of the water i see i have abuot 20 to 30 8 to 14 inch shad in it these are the bigest shad iv ever seen iv neetted some 8 to 10 inch befor but these 14 inch shad are bigger then iv ever seenwow what a shad 14 inches an close to 2 inches thich should make some good bait heres some pics of therm

    then i go to the same spot 2 days later and cant get a shad:angry::angry: bill tock them all just decimated the population!! shadjacker!!:angry:

    Holy Crap....:eek:oooh: I wouldnt fish the area you caught em, obviously nothings feeding on em....LOL I've never seen any in the 14 inch region either.

    he came by my house and showed them to me.... i couldnt believe it!! i have never seen them that big!! it would take a big ole bluecat to eat that one!! :smile2:

    this was actually a down grade.. lastyear bill and i were labeled as [[ skipjackers ]]for bringing home a cooler of skipjack from cumberland city!:smile2::smile2: i aint sayin no names... :wink:

    if thats the worst thing he calls me ill be doing ok lets see now im a shadjacker last year i was a skipjacker what the word anm i going to be this coming year my boat aint that big ill have to wrap the hole boat if we keep this up but that does sound like a good name for a boat
