What is a proper sized circle hook for fishing a bream as bait for a Flathead? This would be new to me as I have always fished for blues with herring, never attempted a bream as bait before...

Do you try to fish them alive? Float? Bottom? Let me point out that my friends and I fish from banks only...no boating....

    Thanks in advance...

I use an 8/0 circle hook. Fish the bream dead or alive and scale them whether dead or alive. GOOD LUCK !
