Jim, did they say how it was caught? Anyone we know?

No matter how I guess 92#s if one heck of a fish. I think that has proved a few times this year thats theres a possible new record blue and flathead in the lake. I know the flathead caught this year and released from a trout line would have beaten the state record by 10 pounds or so if on a rod and reel., and he still in the lake somewhere.
Thanks for getting the report Jim, looks like we have some work to do yet....

I wonder if they did CPR if it was weighed up at the gas station/bait shop?

Pretty unlikely considering it was weighed at the bait shop. Not too many have a livewell that can haul around a 92# fish.
I heard it was caught on a jug so chances are it's in someones freezer now...

What a pity if they did kill it. It was only 32 lbs away from record status. I guess you cant reach them all.

On a rod and reel it was only 11 pounds from the state record.

We are a few miles from Fuzzy's and good friends with him, he takes good care of us and any other fisherman that comes in his place. According to Fuzzy it is in someones freezer or belly, it is a shame they didn't through it back but not too different from the record in 1967 of 117lbs blue caught at Muddy Creek near Talley Bend. Guess a guy always need to keep a camera in his boat along with his rod and reels.
