I noticed a squeacking sound for the first time in my motor. I think the started has started for the last time because it is making a really bad sound starting. I have known it needed to be replaced for the past year. Could this be or have caused a problem with a squeack. It's not constant, almost like a chirping sound, from the motor not the alarm. I noticed it running, so then I put it in nuetral and revved up the motor and the noise was still there. Sounded like something needed to be oiled or greased. Could the problem be from the starter, I don't think it is since a starter just starts. Not for sure, just thought I would ask to see if someone might know.

With out being there to pin point the noise it would be a pure guessing game. I doubt that it would be the starter because it stops turning when you let off the key after it starts. At least it is suppose to.

That's what I was thinking. Guess I'll just keep and ear on it and see if it continues.
