Bobpaul, my dash trim indicator sticks and won't show where the motor is trimmed to. Trim/tilt works fine, just that I have to look behind or look at rpm's to know when it is trimmed. Problem is intermittent, some days works ok. The sensor on the motor seems to be sticking. Can this be corrected without replacing the sensor?

Spray some lubricating oil on the arm where it pivots, then work the arm up and down. The motor will need to be trimmed up and access the arm from underneath to do this.

Thanks, Bobpaul, I'll go out and do it right now.

I sprayed it with silikroil and worked it in. Seems to be ok, now. Thanks!

Kroil makes about the best spray lubes on the market. Good choice.
