got a good deal on a 80 ramcharger...runs,drives,etc...looks decent outside..inside is ratty!!! has a few minor probs I am working on now and eventually go into the 318 and rebuild it... (smokes at start up).
Cant complain for 600 bucks...and i drove it home!!! My son and I are working on it a little at a time as a project...eventually it will be his rig...
kinda fun to have a truck i can work on that isnt computer controlled!!! pretty simple!!!
my son is already wanting a lift and tires etc... just like his ol' man...

Congrats, have fun with your son working on it. Yeh, it's nice to work on the older ones. I am kinda doing the same thing with an 81 Bronco. I've got to get back to work on it soon.I bought all kinds of new parts and I either haven't had a chance or it was too hot to mess with it. Now that the weathers nice I need to get on it.

    Good Luck with it

I had a 84 model wish I still had it. Tough and plenty of room in them.
