Hello, I recently purchased a 7hp ted williams sears motor, it looks air cooled and has a tucusmeh motor on it. My question is is a two stroke or four? What kind of oil does it use in the lower unit, and I have tried to find info on the web with no luck, anybody have a website that may help me?.............thanks

it's a 2 stroke, and uses standard lower unit oil. motor parts are readily available at your local small engine shop. Later Andy

Top is air cooled but the lower leg, exhaust and the bottom wall of the block is water cooled. It has a water pump and must be run in water or it will over heat eventually.

All were two stroke engines and used premixed oil and gas. Mine had the same basic engine as a Tecumseh earth packing machine.
