What is the proper gap on the spark plugs? Do I need to change the lower end oil? I used my boat once last summer, I normally use it more than once but that's life. I had a major tune up on her last year. She runs like a new one, I use only manufactured specs. ;)

I can't remember the gap but I would change lower unit oil, it's a good way to check if there is any water in it.

The book said to gap at 30 but im my experence I have found that gaping at 35 or 40 gives me better idle and less fouling if I troll for awhile.
As for the plugs with no more hours then that I would run them this season.
The lower unit oil should have been changed before winter set in. The reason being is if you have water intrusion then the water won't have time to freeze and bust the lower housing.
I would atleast check it to see if it had any water in it before use this year.

Are you useing QL77JC4 plugs in it.
