    Hello guys,
I went camping on the missouri for 9 days with some buddies and caught several fish, but last sunday the last day of our trip a friends 8 year old hooked a fish that was pulling him in.He handed the pole to his dad and he fought it for about 30 minutes and got it close enough that we could get it in.It turned out to be a 72lb blue.He was using a worm and spiderwire line on a heavy rod.I dont have a digital pic of him with it,but did manage to sneak one of myself with it.I will try and post it.

I bet that was exciting for the little guy. To each their own but considering how long it takes for them to reach that size and the future of the fishery its a shame they didn't snap a picture for their braggin rights and send the old gal back to the depths. JMHO

Awesome Fish and a great Catch. Thx for sharing the story. Too bad it isnt still in the river. Hopefully the fish was fileted out and made a nice meal so it didnt go to total waste.

Nice fish, that beats anything I have caught, I must say he looked pretty sad hanging there though. Not trying to rip on ya, I noticed you are new to the boc, we just all try to release them biguns for the next feller, so don't take it too hard that we are all getting on ya for killin that fish. We just let them go cause they usually just taste like crap and they make lots of babys.
