WOW i almost flipped the boat it scared the heck out of me.I have a 72 starcraft v hull boat with 100 hp evinrude i just bought it . Well the first time i took it out and was testing it when you start going faster it almost turned over. Could it be that the tilt/trim wasnt proper? Or any other ideas will be Much appreciated.

very possible if the trim is too high the boat will become unstable and hard to control

Johnny, what is the size of the star craft boat.. is it suppose to have a 100 hp motor on it? Is every thing on the boat straight.. as you look from the back of the boat. Post a picture. What do you mean.. turn over.. did it lean inside the curve or outside? Is the Prop in good shape? How was the loaded?
