    Fleetwood Mac

    Doobie Brothers

    Credence Clearwater Revival

Alot of today's music just doesn't have the "soul".... and talent.

Those are some great bands! I would have the add the Allman Brothers, CCR, and the Eagles. I must say the Skynyrd is my favorite. Does that make me a "redneck"? :)

In my CD collection I found the following (so I'd have to say I like 'em ) : AC/DC, the Allman Brothers, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Bad Company, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Doobie Brothers, the Eagles (WOO HOO my favorite), Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Grand Funk Railroad, Heart, Journey, Kansas, Little River Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Steve Miller Band, REO Speedwagon, Styx, and 38 Special. I've seen several of these folks in concert (be nice to say ALL); Allman Bros, the Eagles twice, Grand Funk, Journey, LRB, and 38 Special.....all were excellent shows. Hey Jack, I have Jethro Tull's Christmas album from a couple years back. Have you heard it? It was their most highly acclaimed album in years.

Kinda looks like the 70's were pretty well covered. Great sounds of the times and great dancing tunes also
