    Yes,

    The bait alarms seem to be much stronger on these than they are on my 6600's.

    I have 2 of the 7000ic3's, to me they are the perfect cat reel and the nicest Ambassadeurs I have owned.

    I totally agree the 7000ic3 is the best, all around reel. It's a good investiment.:smile2:

    i looked at one today and i didnt see a bait clicker anywhere

    The new ones has clickers.

    The clicker is on the left side plate just above and aft of the large cast control.
    It is a small concave button, push straight down to engage and up to disengage.
