Anybody have trouble with thier 7000i clickers... Two of mine quit working.
bought them new mid summer last summer and today I broke them out for the first time this season and the dang clickers don't work on EITHER of them. I hope this ain't common because I just bought two more 7000i's just yesterday and spooled them with 80lb. braid.... wishing I would've just bought more penn's now... dang Chinese JUNK.

    Bill,
Apparently Abu are aware of this problem and have fixed it with a new sideplate design.
I think it was Darryl (SkipEye) who posted that although Abu could not supply him with the new parts they did send him completely new reels in exchange for the old ones with the problem.
It's an easy fix, you can tweek the spring and cure the problem. It's a design fault, not a "Made in China" fault.
