7y/o! Man I imagine he has proud parents I know I would've been proud of my kid for doing that, and prouder still for keeping the fish alive and donating it to the special program they have there in Texas.Hopefully this will turn him on for good to the fishin fever and maybe someday it will be Cats instead of Bass!:smile2:

I waited 40+ years to get my first Bass over 10+ pounds, and a 7 year old lands a 13+ pounder?
    :eek:oooh:
All I have to say about that is:
    "Great Job Little Buddy" :006:

you just done what alot of "Pro Bass Fishermen" (that get paid lots of $$$$) will never do!
    :haha:

I myself, am happy for you - you showed them!
    :confident:

and I just know that your Mom & Dad are proud as well. :big_smile_2:

Keep on doing it kid & you will be the next "Bill Dance" - "Roland Martin" - "Rick Clunn" - "Denny Brauer" - Jimmy Houston" ect.

The first thing to cross my mind when I red this was the old wartime saying, "How do ya put em back on the farm when they've seen Paris?"

This kid is ruined on bass fishing forever because everything from here on out is an anticlimax. LOL

    How do you top it?

That is an awesome bass. I read the article in BAssMaster magazine. He already caught a fish of a lifetime, and he has many more years to catch another one!
