Went fishing with fellow member DRC a couple weeks ago here in Tennessee. We had a great day. Caught this 65...a 45..38...and a 30 lber. All were caught on cut skipjack in 30 ft . Water temp was 78. Skipjack are very hard to get around here right now. I dont know whats up with them. Anyone having any luck with them this year? If so what are you using ...and what methods??? Seems that the Cats around here right now definitly prefer skipjack over any other bait. Ive tried gizzard shad and bluegill...but the skipjack is THE BAIT right now. Just cant get any!!!!

Nice fish. As for the skips can't really say. We use bream most of the time. On our next trip we were talking of trying to catch some skips so will let you know if we were successful and what methods we used.
