My little 6 year old girl, Krya, braved the cold to help dad reel in some crappie at the lakes this spring. My wife and 7 year old son wanted to stay at the campground next to the fire, but Kyra wanted to go with dad.

This is a picture of her on the way back to the camp, we had a basket full of nice crappie to show off. I was so proud of her and at the fish cleaning station when the guys up there were saying your a tough cookie fishing out there today.

    Scott.

I've hunted in the cold for most of my life, but this year was the first year that I fished in the cold of winter. It's kinda tough to stay out when your fingers are numb, your toes feel like they're on fire, and you can't stop shivering long enough to tie a knot.

Your little girl must be tougher than a $2 steak. I bet you're proud.:cool2:
