I fished the shore about 1/4 mile west of Eads wash Wed nite. Got one good run on cut bait, could not seal the deal. Channel cats have spawned, 1-4" and 1-6" on my bluegill rod. At 4 am the water came alive with shad, carp and whatever bait fish. There is so much food for the flats right now I am gonna either put a sign on my gills, take me, or train some kamakazi bluegill.By talking with a guy who fished Eads wash last nite it was quiet there also. Stopped by the diversion dam on my way out, no one fishing and wall to wall carp 6 am.

Yep Garret, I feel it is the highway that you have a chance catch em on the move for a shore fisherman, and a good spot to anchor for an evening, I believe the deeper areas have changed this season.
