6-08 'gill/channel trip

    kinda slow at getting pics resized but here are some pics from a trip a freind and i went on thursday. rivers were too high so we went 'gill fishing during the afternoon and channel fishing later. channels were slow but my freind managed a 12lb fish (11.6, close enough lol). also caught a softshell trying to sneak off with the goods. sorry flatties, these gills are destined for the deep fryer:big_smile:

    cool. Do you know how bad a bite is from a softshell turtle? I do :angry: . They have a very long neck (longer than my pliers reaching in it's mouth) and are very quick.

    I have never had turtle. Don't think I ever will. I won't enjoy cleaning those things.

    Nice picks and yes some of those gills are BLACK CRAPPIES.
