56lb carp

    tail hooked this monster while fishing for bluegill with an ultra light setup....took an hour to wear it down

    Good catch. One BIG fish and on ultralite. Must have been fun. There is some grass carp in some of the ponds I fish for bluegills in and so far have never hooked one but they sure are big. Look like submarines in the water.

    that is a nice carp. they aren't much to eat, but i love to catch them.

    Carp, CrRraaAaPPppPPpp to bad you foul hooked it. but still fun to fight on llight tackle. congrats on landing it.

    Way to go, Chris. That is one huge carp. They are really hard fighters and are even harder to wear down and land if they are hooked in the tail. Congrats and hope you get a few more like him.

    thats a big carp and on an ultra light to I bet that was an awesome fight i tail hooked one in shallow water in april with a rapala lure it was about 20 or so pounds and I was flippin because I didnt know what i had at first. i thought it was a state record bass then i seen a little bit of it and thought it was a catfish and then i seen it was a carp but, it was still a good fight though.
