Welcome to the BOC Jason. Nice fish. His head is wider than you are. LOL
Did you catch that in Wichita? I am not tryin to be rude or break your heart but that flat might weigh 25 lbs but is no where close to 54.Welcome to the BOC.
i second that
i second that one too....
looks bigger than 25 though. look about the same as my 37 so i would guess 35-40. if it wasnt this time of year i'd probably go as high as 45.
did you get the 54 lb. weight from a scale or guess the weight off its measurements ?? it just looks small for 54 but i aint no expert off a pic. by all means, i aint callin ya a liar my brother. GREAT catch regardless !!
Yeah its a nice fish but the one in my avatar is only 22 lb and they look close to the same size. Its hard to tell from a pic but the highest Id go is 30 and that is really pushin it. Maybe I need a new scale?:smile2: Looks like Harry st in Wichita but Im not sure.
Welcome to the BOC , Nice flathead
maybe he got to typin too fast and meant to hit 45 ?? but then again... i know how you Wichita area guys are about weighin fish :confused2::roll_eyes::wink::smile2:
Where did you catch him? Nice fish. Id guess 25-30 lbs. Congrats.
welcome to the boc,nice fish
i would have to say that it looks 25-30 imo also its a very nice fish congrats on the catch..:cool2:...if you weighed with scale i would check batterys if thats a option i had a scale and we caught one a few weeks ago and it was reading 20lb on a flathead that looked to me no where near 20 i guessed him at 15lbs and cpr him then bought a new scale before the last outing and caught one that weighed in at 18lbs and boy did he look every bit of it so a good scale is a must when weighing fish congrats is he a pb for you?
Dunno what that cat's stats are, but it makes most of what I've caught
look like bait. Good job getting it in! I tend to see fish that size swimming
away after a couple of hard fast rolls near the bank or the side of the
boat. Makes for great stories but I'd rather have a picture like yours!
