Got the water pump put in thanks all. When i open the throttle all the way up it seems like the prop isnt running as fast as it should like its loosing power . Was told this from the guy I bought it from. What could cause this? he said he thinks it's outta time but it doesnt seem to miss or sputter. any idea?

Make sure the prop hub isnt spun,if the rpms seem high for the speed you are getting, and dont over rev the engine unless it is in water, the water hose will let the motor over rev and could blow the motor

sounds like a spun hub. Take a sharp object and take the prop nut off and scribe the hub from the inside spline to the out side of the prop and run it and then remove it again and see if your marks are out of alighment and if it is your hub is slipping in the prop.

Nah, just have the hub replaced.
