I went to sam dale lake to day catfishing with chicken liver weightless, I noticed my line popping no comming in or going out so i picke it up and started reeling up the slack,,,,,,, I feel tension wham i set the hook and man what a monster. Here i am in a boat by myself in shorts and no shoes and i hook a monster turtle. What do i do i grab the net and put it in the boat with me. wow what fun i turn to use the trolling motor to head in so i can call for my dad to come get it so i can keep fishing and hear something and the turtle was on the deck of my boat with me. Finally i got him back on the floor of the boat and he starts attacking my rods so i have to use the net and an oar to get him away from them. i get him to the bank and send him home dad weighed him before he cleaned it and tells me that it weighed fifty and a half pounds. Thats by far the biggest turtle I have ever caught, Next time im wearing shoes
