Ridiculous, I fish for about 4 hrs last night up at frontier park in st. charles from the bank. Not 1 bite, nothing. I think I'm in the biggest slump ever. I probaly have around 25 hrs fishing this month, And I've caught like 3 fish. Nothing over 2 lbs. Ive got to get some better spots. The longer I go without fish, just makes me want to fish even more. Very weird, Its turning in to quite the challange. :sad2::sad2::confused2:

77, don't feel bad. Up till the middle of June I the biggest fish I'd caught this year was an 8# channel. Lots of loooooooong boring nights on the river and lake. I almost had to look on the internet for pix of blues and flats - I'd forgotten what they looked like:smile2:

First blue of the year was a 35 and I've hit a 21# flat and a 43# blue so far, so when you break your streak, you'll probably break it big. You're on the right track with keeping at it, though, you can't catch them from the couch. Good Luck!

    Eeekk... Slumps suck.

I had a bad one recently I realized I had slowly changed my technique 1 thing at a time until I stopped catching fish. I had to re-evaluate what I used to do when I was catching fish and get back to basics. Now I'm back on a roll and having fun again. Good luck with yours.

I'm sure you'll be catching em' again in no time.

We went last Thurs. to L&D 25 and caught 6, but nothing big (8lbs was big fish). Then went back Wed morning at 3:30 am and planned on slaying them and didn't catch anything but bait!! Gonna give it another go tonight.

sorry to hear of your slump. I hope it gets better. I have been in the same boat, lots of fishing nothing really to show for it. I hope everybodys luck turns.
