this is a forty-nine lb blue I caught sunday in the ohio river my new personal best. He was caught on my smallest rod in the boat with 20lb test line, funny enough I had two I just pulled in with 50lb test line. Needless to say it was a long and drawn out fight, I ended up cutting my anchor line and following him down river and finally pulled him over the side of the boat. I got a good picture of him and put him back in the river. He smam off in a hurry.

If there was ever a good reason to cut your anchor line, it is to chase the fish of a lifetime. Love it.

    Congratulations!

Very nice fish bro, and thanks for letting it live to fight another day. May Karma bring you two back together for a return engagement sometime in the future.
