.44 blackpowdr cylinder

    how can i remove a ball and powder thathave been placed in the cylinder with out shooting them? thanks for your help

    I cant recall exactly where I saw it ,I think it was Cabelas or BPS,but they make a Co2 powered gizmo to push out a blackpowder load ,just take the cap off and press the co2 cartridge with the adapter and it propels the ball and powder out.

    thanks i've seen those. i didnt know if they would work, since that ball is push into the cylinder of the revolver pretty hard. the air would have to really be able to push. i'll look into them. thanks for the input

    There is a special jag for removing balls from barrels. Actually it is a screw that you attach to the end of you ram rod and when you turn it it screws into the lead ball then you pull it out. You can make your own by welding a screw to the end of a rod then welding a handle to the opposite end of the rod. After screwing it into the bullet gab that handle and pull the ball out.
