We went out last night and I caught a 43 pound flathead and my cuz caught a 48 pound flathead and a 15 pound blue. We caught them on skipjack but we fished for a long time. im going to see if I can post the pictures but Ive been having a big problem getting them to size because I dont know computers.

Great fish. Thanks for the post.

    Want to share any details?
Where (no secrets, just the river, etc.), when, how deep?

using fresh skipjack caught the same day cut off the tail hooked through the back or through the eyes using a carolina rig setup fishing on a slope drop off from 35-52 feet deep anchored down no drifting for both of them. cover of some kind close by because i keep getting hung up in it.
