    by far the best trip of the year caught 9 flatheads all on gold fish..and the river was up alittle .....

    Thank's guy's ..we are like everyone else we'v been battling high water all year..if the river ever settle's down we could catch more fish....

    very nice catch. Don't think I have ever used goldfish as bait but I have heard its a good one.

    I'v got flathead 's to bite on goldie's when they wouldn't hit anything else...give'm a try...

    any good fishing from the bankon the kaskaskia or is the current to strong for your weights to hit bottom pm me plz thanks:cool2:

    there are some good spot's to bank fish right at the dam...if the river is half to three quarter's bank full...I have found over the year's that the fish bite better below the dam when they are releasing some water...then if you go all the way through town on the main drag..to the last stop light and turn left and follow this road out of town a mile or so there is a bridge that cross's the river again..that's good fishing....
